WIF light
My truck started out if it was raining real hard while driving the WIF light comes on, also if Im washin it and hit the wheel well to hard with the pressure washer the WIF light comes on, then if it is real wet & slushy after snowfall driving home after plowing all night WIF light comes on, now if it rains out and I go out to start my truck WIF light is on. I have drained it many times never any noticeable water in my fuel and once the truck warms up and apparently dries out whatever is getting wet it goes away. I have checked the sensor connection cleaned it and put it back together with die electric grease where else could this be getting wet?

Try unplugging the sensor if the light goes out you have a sensor issue. Try replacing the sensor then make sure the seal to keep water out of the connector is on.

First thing that comes to my mind is you have a small hole somewhere on the fuel tank. If your spraying your wheel well and the light is coming on, than water is getting in there somehow. Check the tank for leaks. I know its not the fuel tank, but my aftermarket alarm stopped working everytime I washed my truck. Turns out I had a quarter sized hole in the firewall and water was coming in and going right into the alarm brain. Plugged the hole and the alarm works fine now. Hope you find the problem.

Maybe off base, but we had a bunch of company trucks (not Dodge) that when our maint yard installed something in the bed (can't remember, what it was,) they drilled thru the filler hose when drilling the bed.
Make sure you haven't punched a hole int he filler or tank mounting something int he bed.
It ruined a bunch of our fuel pumps, full of dirt.

I will try disconnecting the sensor I've cleaned it and inspected the o ring and the gasket on the plug. I was going to replace the sensor but its like $130 does anyone have the part # for it . I tried the Cummins shop and he couldnt find it in their computer. Thanks but I havent drilled anywhere near the tank or filler hose. I'm not actually getting water in my fuel. The sensor sets off even on a damp night and goes away after five minutes of running engine.
