Can anybody help me. I have been having my dosge ram 2500 diesel 2003 problems with it stalling. I did have the injectors changed 2 months ago and it ran fine. Then had found my heater hose had loosened off and caused black exhaust smoke. that was tightened and cleared up. Then I lost power and it would stall while towing, but after minute would start and run for a few feet and do same. Later it seemed to clear away but still had less power. Took to diesel shop and they diagnoised and replaced lift pump. Drove about 200 km., then started stalling again 3 times in 2 miles. Lost power again too. I had chaged the air and fuel filter.

Can anyone help very frustrated Please any advise

 

Did they check that the injection pump was working, when they replaced the lift pump, once the lift pump fails the injection pump works overtime to draw fuel from the tank. Is it throwing any codes?
