Who makes the new GenIII injectors

And how do they compare to the Duramax injectors? I know the injection system is the same as the Dmax system except the injectors look different. Are they the same nozzles like the ones in the Dmax?

They're both Bosch, but built to Cummin's specs from what I heard.

If you are asking who sells aftermarket performance injectors I think Bullydog or Quadzilla is, Diesel Dynamics, and F1 Performance (Don M) has them in the works.

Re:Who makes the new GenIII injectors

Thank you Vaughn.

I'm researching the injectors to try and figure out what the differences are between the ones used in the Duramax and the ones used in the Gen III Cummins.

I trying to figure out why the Duramax injectors cost so much more. Is this a GM thing? Is Dodge making the difference here by offering lower prices?

Or are the Cummins injectors simply cheaper to produce? I would think the nozzles are similar to the Dmax injector design since everything else is the same.

Hoot, I heard the Cummins ones are very expensive too. When you see prices for aftermarket injectors those are exchange prices. If you bought brand new injectors outright they would be quite a bit more expensive, probably in the $3000+ range. Of course it helps to have 6 instead of 8 units

I think its a GM kind of thing in a sense. I just replaced a set a few weeks ago, under warranty of course. The list price was somewhere in the $700.00 range and dead cost to the dealer was $500.00 ish Just not all that much there for that kind of money. If it were me having to dish out that kinda dough I would wish the parts dept miscalculated somewhere
