Who has a G 56 six speed?
I'm curious how many of you guys have the G 56 six speed tranny? Do you like it? I drove one and it seems to shift smoother than the NV 5600. I have heard of possible problems with the dual mass flywheel.

No one on these sites have reported a flywheel problem.The G.M. and Fords had/do have problems.Time will tell if it still is a problem or if new designs are better.

I have the G56 in my 05 CTD and I really like it. I've got about 5600 miles on it right now. It does shift very smoothly for a truck transmission.

I've got 3K on my g56 and the noise I asked about in a previous is gone and it just shifts better and better with milage.I got my juice/attitude in and will install it this week so we'll see how it holds.Later.
