Whirly Bird sound from rolling truck, any clues?
well this is weird. just noticed the other day as i traveled along i am hearing this whirly bird sound echoing off this wall i was passing. Its not squeakers from brake pads, and not engine cause i turned it off while rolling along and noise still there. apply brake - no change. Sound dies or slows down as i just coast out of gear, so not drive train either. When finally stopped, sound stops as well.
do really bad bearings do this? i have 48,000 miles an 2004.5 2500 auto, sb, diesel, slt, no mods, and cant figure this out. Truck still runs great and mileage has been around 17+ mpg. any hints to this will be appreciated.
2004.5, 2500, auto, SB, Diesel, slt, no mods.
thanks in advance
