Can you elaborate some more regarding this "additive"? Maybe a link if there is something online? What additive are they recommeding?

I have No wheel hop with my set up which includes moderate power
So, with full replacement rear leaf pack, Carli bags, and a good shock, would traction bars provide any benefit?

I haven't had a chance to install the Carli long-travel bags yet, and am going back and forth on whether or not to order some traction bars while XLR8TR's February sale is going on...

I can say from personal experience that neither traction bars or ladder bars eliminate wheel hop under all conditions. Backing uphill in slippery conditions is particularly troublesome. Although spring wrap seems to be the largest contributing factor, I think the dual mass flywheel (if you have one) and slop in the rubber driveline mounts may have more effect than we like... along with driving style.
