Auto or 6SP?

Thanks!

I respect that and enjoy manuals myself.

By how would you like it in traffic everday?

If your truck was your daily driver and you had to deal with 25-30 minutes of stop and go traffic twice a day, would you still buy the 6 speed standard or would you buy the 48RE?

I haven't decided yet myself.

Thanks alot for you opinion,

DT.

I get down to L.A. pretty regularly, and I find that crawling in 1st gear is just right for stop and go traffic.

For the newbie, I am biased towards sticks, and I find nothing wrong with driving my truck in rush hour traffic in DC. Its easier than my 5 speed Mustang.

When I was looking for a new truck, I drove about 4-5 Dodge automatics, and about 5-6 Ford auto's; I drove one 6 speed Dodge - I bought it. nuff said.

although i can't wait to go back to afternoon shift. have about 25-30 min traffic in the afternoon and no traffic coming home past midnight

IN the 6- speed I find it crazy in heavy traffic, although 5th and 6th are nice and tall enough to put many to shame. ( foreign or other)
