what's the opinion on ebay reman injectors?
(6) Fuel Injectors for 2004.5-07 Dodge Ram Diesel Bosch 1 year warranty Cummins
US $1,399.66
Ebay ads still not allowed on DTR
Includes new o-rings for the connector tubes. Also includes instructions and intake gaskets.
Fits 325HP engine
Reference Part Numbers:
Bosch 0445120114
Cummins 4940051
Mopar R5135790AD
what are other sources for OEM injectors?
some places wanted $500 each
GOOGLE doesn't really seem to find them.
I am thinking I can tackle this myself.

I would not buy reman injectors no matter who was selling them. You can buy new injectors from a bunch of different vendors. Exergy seems to have a good reputation and middle of the road pricing. When mine needs injectors, and the time is getting very near, I will likely go to them.

Yes, Exergy is still very much alive. I spoke with the owner over the phone about a month ago. They've been swamped lately but their turn around time is about the same as Don at F1....couple of weeks.

At some point all the injectors will be remans, I don't see a problem with running reman injectors as long as they a built by a dependable company as in Bosch, F1, Exergy. If the parts are tested to meet OE specs then they are the same as the parts that were used when they were new. I am running Bosch ramans now and have had no problems with them.

Bosch in Charleston no longer builds them, per my neighbor who works there.
Local diesel shop gets them via Dodge for ~$2500, and he stands behind them.
gonna do that when get some other things skrate.
