what size hex socket?

what size hex socket?

got under the truck to change the fluid in the g56 and noticed it has a hex socket (female hex- not sure what to call it) well i'm going to sears tonight to get a socket, does anyone know what size it is off hand? either that or i have to go out and crawl under the truck while at sears and try diffrent sizes

Is it square drive? Could you use the 1/2" (or is it 3/8"?) drive ratchet without a socket?

I believe it's a 14mm allen.

it's definately an allen/hex key, just not sure the size. i'll start with 14mm i suppose.

The NV5600 is a 17 mm not sure on the g56

When you put the plug back in, wrap it with teflon tape, that way you don't have to tighten it as much, and it won't leak.
