What to look for on an 03?

I'm leaving in about an hour to check out a 2003 SLT 2500, 5.9L CTD, 6speed, quad cab, and long bed. 90,000 miles, 4x4. What do I need to look for? Is the gear ratio stamped onto the diff itself? Basically what do I need to pay special attention to?
Thanks.

Look in the glove box. The ratio is on a sticker in there. If you have the luxury of jacking it up, see if there's any end to end play in the wheels (ball joint check). Ask if the lift pump has been changed. Check the alternator bracket for cracks. Check the oil level and see if you smell diesel fuel in it. Thats all I can come up with off the top of my head. What's the asking price?

Oh yea, it also has a bully dog chip. What do I need to ask about that?

Is it a chip or the power pup or triple dog downloader? If it's a downloader, he needs to throw in the downloader along with the deal or put you back to stock setting, because it isn't adjustable like the Bully Dog box (chip) is. So in other words, if it is the downloader, you'll be stuck on what ever setting he has it on with no way of changing the program without the downloader.

Ive got an 03 and its a great truck, drive the truck up to about 65mph and check for any wind noise in the driver side door. See if the truck has any vibe in the steering wheel at that speed also. Both are common problems in 03s and mine does both but are tolerable. Id offer him 22k.

If he's got a bully dog, and no gauges, I wouldn't touch it. Even if he does have the gauges, I'd still be very weary. Someone probably beat on that truck pretty good. That said, I beat the crap out of my pickup every single day and its still perfect. They are very good trucks.

It also has a sound system. I'd probably remove the sound system and sell it. It's also straight piped. Sounds nice. There are random scratches on it that come from being used and two small dents.
The biggest thing I don't like about it is that it has 4.10 gears. What kind of diesel mileage can I expect with 4.10s, stock tire setup?
