What happens when you overfill a 48RE?

Afternoon, DTR...

I did a tranny svc the other day, and after driving it around for a few miles, I checked it again, I was a little high on the dipstick. On the way home from the test drive, I did not have overdrive or lockup... could this cause it?

I just got my co-pilot to work, too, so I'm worried about that as well. Man, that thing hooks when it locks up.

I'm about to go get the truck to op temp and drain a little out. Hope it works....

TIA!

Nothing happens unless you get too full and then it leak out the vent .

Usually run 1-2 quarts over fill line all the time. No problems.

You have another problem somewhere.

Crap.

I'm gonna go drain a little out, and check my wires. It tried to lock up for a second a minute ago, but jumped back out. It won't even lock in second...
