what additives with the new diesel??

hey guys! since they have changed the diesel for this year, what additives are you guys using with you fuel?

I've heard that the Lucas diesel additive is something that you should use every time you refill your tank.

Need a little advice....

Lucas is good, I ran it for a while, but now I run TCW-3 2 stroke ashless in mine. Quiets the engine clatter and runs like a well oiled machine! 1oz. to 1 gallon of fuel is the common ratio.

Check this out

It rates the Lucas additive as having slightly less lubricity than ULSD alone.

I run Power Service which came in #10 on the list. I'm laid up right now and not driving but I intend to start running TCW3 2 stroke from Walmart along with Power Service on the next fill up.

Check out BG prod diesel fuel conditioner, I really like their products. It is so concentrated that 1 gallon of fuel conditioner treats something like 2500 gallons of diesel!

I run 2 stroke every tank, and diesel clean every three or four.

I'm running the Opti Lube XPD and their summer blend. Thought I'd give their stuff a try. I had been running PS/MMO.

CA-40 + Howes Meaner Cleaner, + PS or howes anti jell (in winter) + 2 stroke... I mix it all in a quart bottle and it treats 60 gallons.

Started with Lucas, then went to PS Diesel Kleen, and now running 2-stroke oil. 1 Qt to a full tank. Like the last best! Made me a believer.

Iv been running Walmart brand 2 stroke as well and it works really well.
Iv also read that on the newer (07 and up), Cummins reccommends no additive be used at all.

Question How about this?

I was picking up a can of Sea Foam the other day for my mowers and other yard items and a guy came up and bought three cans ahead of me. We checked out at the same time and both walked out. He took two of the cans and dumped them into his agri bed tank. He said he always runs it in his tractors and his skid steers. Has for years. I swear by it for small engines and this guy likes it for his machinery. It seems to be expensive for every tank use, but what about occasionally? anyone use it in the truck?
