What is the 06 mega cab front/rear spring capacities?

I test drove a 06 ¾ mega cab 2x4 a few months ago and the ride was pretty decent. I just drove a 1 ton mega cab 4x4 today and the ride seems to be quite a bit firmer. Question, does anyone know what the front/rear spring capacities are for the ¾ and 1 ton in both the 2x4 and 4x4. I am torn between the extra towing capacity of the 1 ton and the ride of the ¾ ton. I currently have a 9.5k travel trailer and plan to upgrade to a 5th wheel next year. I am guessing the 5th wheel to be in the 15-16k range.

Thanks.

If you are at all serious about pulling a 15k-16k 5th wheel just get the 1-ton, even if it rides a bit rougher. Actually, I think the ride in the 1-ton was more firm because it was a 4x4, not because it was a 1-ton.

The ride difference is due to the 4x4 config. When I was looking I test drove multiple 2500's and 3500s and I can tell you, there is barely (if any) difference between a 2500 4x4 & a 3500 4x4 as far as ride quality goes. I LOVE the ride of my 3500 megacab... Just can't believe a 1 ton 4x4 truck rides this nice.

The front coil springs on a 3500 Megacab 4x4 is about 400 lbs/in, maybe a little more. I can't help you with the rest.
