weird smokeout
A few days ago I was on my first tank of ULSD and was making and underpass U-turn, Had it in 3d and nailed the throttle to merge with traffic coming, and she blew out a heck of a cloud of pure black smoke. Like a 12valve with a fuel plate. I havent been able to duplicate it since. Is this something I should be concerned about. I only got 13K on her and everything seems to be fine. I was not going slow enough to bog in third, so I dont know what happened. TIA

No concern needed. If you drive your truck like a normal human being daily it is perfectly normal to blow a little smoke when you jump on the go pedal hard!
Seems to clear out the cylinders.

Kawi,
That is normal. If you baby the truck around for a while, then get on it hard it will "clean" out the exhaust system of built up soot. After you "clean" it out it won't smoke as much immediately following that, until you let it "build" back up again. It is good for it to blow it out every so often.
How is your 05 Brute force holding up? I just bought an 07 BF 750 and so far it's doing good...but only 80 miles and 21 hrs on it so far. IT's a beast and sounds awesome even with stock exhaust.

thanks for the help, as for the Brute All is well except after sitting for 8 months while I was overseas, My fan circuit breaker is messed up. Went coyote hunting with my dad last week, and it kept overheating, and boiling the fluid out. I thought the radiator was just clogged, which it was. Cleaned it out and all seemed well. Went hunting again and it did the same thing. Realized the fan wasnt turning. Popped the seat, touched the circuit breaker, WHRRRRRR, let go and it stopped. Just unplugged it and stuffed a wire in it for now. Other than that I love the thing, my moms got a Grizzly 660, and my dad has a Grizzly 600, and my Brute 650 blows their racks off every time we run em! The factory tires on mine are pretty good too, as I've taken it in some nasty situations and never even a leak, might be the slime, but I think it's cuz their so soft rubbered. I thought about the 750, but didnt like the IRS on my moms Grizz so I opted for the 650. No power problem though, she'll wheelie fairly easy, and 65MPH is fast enough for me! Thanks again
