Warranty and oil leaks?

Warranty and oil leaks?
I changed oil today and noticed that my oil pan gasket is leaking. Not to bad but since when do leaks quit. Does the factory powertrain or the Cummins warranty cover leaks or am I SOL?

I had the 'weepage' at the rear of my pan, they just re-torqued the bolts. It still looks wet there to me, but no oil running down the pan. Dodge told me it had to make a puddle on the ground the size of about a quarter before they would do anything more than tighten the bolts. So far, their fix seems to have worked.
They told me the same thing about the rear diff/yoke seal, it eventually did leak big-time, they changed it. Now I see my front diff/yoke is 'weeping', I suppose it will also need replacement. I did clean the front diff vent tube yesterday, that could make a difference according to some opinions found here.

What I was told about leaks....
They clean the area that is leaking, then throw some dye in there... if the 'special light' does not detect the leak after xxxx amount of time, then no love.
If it's just a seep... don't worry. That's Cummins external lubrication system...

Ditto to what CD in NM said. I have had the rear pan Gasket Weepage for about 30,000 miles now. Never gets any worse. I re did the rear pan bolts and all seems to be OK, Never drips or runs. I notice it does it right after an oil change. Once the oil goes black it slows way down

thought my pan was leaking as well and after cleaning it off and keeping an eye on if for a while discovered it was originating from between bell housing and pan, probably rear main seal. dealer said if it wasn't leaving a trail in the shop it wasn't bad enough to warranty. Been sweating now for a while without getting worse and never enough to drip on the ground or really worry about.

Check the back of the ROCKER BOX. Lots of them seep heavy from there and it runs down the back of the motor.Leaks are COVERED.On some of those oil pan bolts, take them out one at a time and use some sealer on them and reinstall.
