Warn Portable Winch Wiring

I bought a warn portable 8000lbs. winch (fits into 2" receiver) for work on our ranch. I will be wiring it next week to the rear factory receiver hitch. The package I bought came with a battery isolator and a "power interrupter kit" with a solenoid.

My question is how should I wire this winch? Do I need the battery isolator or the power interupter? Also, would the winch work with jumper cables connected to 25' of 2 gauge cable and warn quick connects? Thanks for your comments.

My Warn set up is about 10 years old. It did not come with all the extra goodies......I just used the 2 ga. wire and disconnects......no problems. Warn actually offered jumper cables w/ clamps on one end and a quick disconnect on the other.....I use them with friends trucks.
