Vibration Thread
Ok here is mine, 04 QC ,100,000 miles,auto,373 posi.Vibration starts at about 65mph and does not stop, seems to get worse as the speed increases, Took the rear DS out and road tested on the highway with no vibration, then took the front out and the vibration is there, even throwing it in neautral at 70 its still there, so I figure I atleast have it narrowed down to the driveshaft or rearend since it will not vibrate with the rear DS out. I had the DS balanced today, the isolater weight was good and tight, with brand new ujoints installed it was 4.0 oz, out of balance.Put it in with both DS,s in and I am back to square one,but it seemed to help alittle. The DS place said to check the bushing in the transfer case tail end housing, it looks good with a very little wear in one spot, it does not fit snug on the DS, should it ? could this be the cause or no ? or should I check the carrier bearing/replace, no noise at all, bent pinion ? bent axle ? Or the vibration can't be fixed cause its originating from the engine/torque cv and transmiting threw the rear DS . The vibration is gone with the rear DS out.

yes in a few weeks, that sounds like a tire issue to me, have your tires load balanced at a tire shop, should cure it,or atleast elimate the tires as the cause
