Ultimate Fuel Filter setup

What would be the optimum setup for diesel filtration. With the high price of a FASS and an even higher price of the airdog, I'm considering making my own setup. I'm thinking something along these lines. Tank.......Fuel/Water Seperator with heater........2 micron Filter......CP3. Does this sound like the logical order.

Thanks
John

I found this so far.

That, coupled with a Holley pump. Any thoughts on this.
