ULSD vs Low sulfer
All i have around my town is ULSD. I was filling up at a gas station in another county and they still have low sulfer diesel. I could have sworn my truck ran smoother and quieter. Not to mention my overhead was reading 1mpg higher than normal.
I'm I just crazy?

some of the energy content in the diesel is lost when they pull the sulfur from the fuel to make it ULSD.. sucks but I can still find LSD here in vegas and its all I buy until I cant find it anymore..

I'm working in Flag, AZ.
I noticed at a new Pilot, that the pumps for cars has diesil, and another set of pumps that sit off to the side (not the big rig pumps) had a differant set of pumps.
The kid at the counter didn't know what the differance was.
The seperate pumps were low sulfer.
Guess the reg island pumps are Ultra low.

Are you sure the offset pumps arent red dye diesel?? Most fuel stations wont waste the extra money to put a LSD specific pump due to the fact that my 2010 all 50 states have to sell only ULSD. Im willing to bet those pumps were "farmer diesel" Red Dye. Dont pump it and run on the street for fear of being dipped..
