Are U Joints Covered Under 7/70?

spicer u-joints aren't OEM, stock replacements were a lot cheaper and that was $90 a piece for the u-joints. so for the labor cost and parts cost. i believe my $100 deductible served me well.

Took my truck in On Sunday & got it back yesterday. It was the Rear U joint bad on my truck.

Beware the hub bearing assemblies are not covered by warranty. If they break when being removed you will be paying for new ones at dealer price of ~$450 each. Ask them before it happens.

I too had my rear U joint replaced last weekend, it also was making the same squeeking noise when I reversed. Dealer replaced all of them under warranty, only problem now is the squeek seems to be back and I have oil or grease splatter all over the underside of the rear of the truck. Anyone know if this is just excess grease or do I have a problem again? I'm calling the dealer tomorrow.
