OK i have searched and i must not be doing it correctly i have a 2004 3500 6 speed 4x4 i cannot find u-joints for the front axle everywhere i go they only have the ones for the cv front ends the caps are tiny on those i figure that the caps on my universals are somewhere in the neighborhood of 1 1/4" secondly i have removed unit bearing assembly's before and i just about started killing people is this going to be the same way and if so what are you guys using to adapt the slide hammer to the eight lugs to get the bearings out? any help is appreciated thanks in advance.

front axle u-joints?? you want precision 464's, which are greaseable.
