well when i first got the truck it would make squeak when the engine shut off. after about 22,000 thousand miles it stopped. now im at 40,223 and it is making that noise again. and reason it started again?

Its the fan belt squeeking when you shut it off,there is a service bulletin for that.They put a one-way clutch on the alternator.

 

X2 on the belt. The TSB for the alternator isn't even really required. The belt squeak at shutdown harms nothing.
