I just noticed a slight chirp of turbo bark when the transmission locks into OD at 50mph. This never happened with standard tranny, when that one blew I went with a triple disc HD unit.

The "bark" lasts for only a split second but I'm a little concerned.

How dangerous is this?

It`s a turbo stall, when the torque convertor locks up. I just back off on the throttle just before it shifts and it helps with the bark.
