trany wont shift into overdrive

Well it started when the weather here got really cold. I would idle the truck in neutral for about a 1/2 hour before going to work drive was 45min on the highway. One morning I noticed that the tranny seemed to hang up before going into overdrive, lasted a few seconds then shifted in. Next morning it did the same thing but with some thing new it would shift in and out of overdrive. Did that for a few miles then shifted into overdrive and all was fine, Note when it stayed in overdrive truck was at opp temp. So I get to work check tranny fluid it was good no weird smell right up to the mark. It did this for a week now it wont even go into overdrive, I know there is a there is a overdrive solenoid. My question is do you think its the soleniod or TPS and which one of the solenoids is the one for the overdrive?? Oh I have no codes with the key trick and the truck goes in tommorow to a tranny shop to have them check for codes.

Until fluid temp hits 70* there is a delay/inhibit to upshift. Also engine temp involved in some. Bad therostat could cause.
