Transmission cooler lines need replacing?
Mine are leaking near or at the fittings at the front of the engine and near the cooler. 2003 Ram 2500.
I'm wondering if someone didn't bugger up the connections the last time I had the transmission serviced. Don't they connect and disconnect at those fittings for flushing?
The dealer has quoted me about $400 to change the two hoses. They tell me just the hoses cost $200. Sounds awfully high.
Thoughts?

Of course the cost is high, delaer only parts. I paid $155 for JUST the top line from the heat exhcnager to the cooler.
If you have a hydrualic shop near or NAPA does it, check and see what they can make the lines for.
