how much power honestly can these trannies handle, i have a buddy that thinks he can run his truck real hard to roll coal all the time, i keep tellin him he is gonna tear it up, he is runnin the diablo sport predator on extreme all the time and has full 5" exhaust and intake? how long can he expect his tranny to last, its an 05' 3500 auto, 82k miles, the injectors started making a lot of noise (a knocking noise from the motor) and the noise eventually went away

 

i can run it till it blows up and then replace it hahaha

 

Im guessing oreodawg1 is your buddy? It may hold for another 50k miles or you can be putzing threw town like I was going 25mph and have a shaft snap. Your on borrowed time.

yeah id run it until it blows which will be soon enough and then i hope you have 5 grand saved its not a pretty bill. also the knocking could be a stuck injector or cracked injector in that case if it fills up the motor with fuel then your looking at at least another 8 so 13 thousand sounds like a lot of money, because it is a lot of money!
