transfer case leak

just wondering how much atf+4 does the transfer case hold?
i crawled under the truck tonight and discoverd that at the front of the rear drive shaft oil is leaking real bad, come to find out that the slip joint is the problem. did some searching on here and found in the slip joint they have a freeze plug in the end of it. well.......long story short i only drained out about 8oz. of fluid in the transfer case.didnt find any metal filings in it. filled it back up and it took about 2and a half quarts of oil. ran it and everthing seems ok so far anything else i should be looking for? thinking of resealing that plug somehow? or should i replace the yoke??????

thanks jamie r

I took my yoke out and cleaned it really good with break cleaner, let it dry and sealed it with some good oil resistant rtv. That was about 180k ago. Still holding.

Where else can you buy the new slip yoke besides the dealer? I can't seem to find one anywhere and hate to pay dealer price.
