Transfer Case how much oil?

No, I dont think so...Im pretty sure the fluid is cooling the bearings in there even in 2 since the power is still being run through the t case.

i dont think so, the tranny is still using the transfer cse for the rear wheels and when you engage 4x4 then it turns the front as well..

You guys who posted 15,000 mile change out made be go outside to the truck and get my owners manual as I thought it was longer then that. BTW its snowing an 8 degrees outside right now! Anyway my 2006 owners manual shows to change the transfer case out at 60,000 mile for sever service and 120,000 miles for normal service. I noticed that Amsoil claims there ATF will hold up for 50,000 miles for sever service in a transmission so how long will it hold up in the transfer case?
