Hello guys, i ran into some money this weekend and i need to upgrade my transmission. So far my list has Torque coneverter,valve body, upgraded clutches,shift kit and maybe a billet shaft but i forget which one to get. I have a smarty, intake and exhaust and i dont plan on getting a ton of power right now but would like to have a trans that could handle everything i have and then a little more. If you guys have anything else to add to my list please let me know.

Did it hurt when you ran into that Money ? Any Damage? Do you have a description of the thing you hit so I can look for it?

Anyway, It might me just as cost effective to just buy the complete transmission, labor costs would be way less just to take out and put in than to take out, rebuild, and reinstall. That is if your close to a builder, freight would mess it up thats for sure.

I just put a TC in mine along with a couple V-body items. It was worth it temps are down 15 degree unless the sun on the front of the truck. (95 out)

I would think you could get more warranty out of entire tranny with one of the know builders.

 

well i wouldnt say it hurt but i almost fell over haha best part was it was hiding in my truck in a bag that i had at my dads house when i moved to florida. I think i will have to make a few phone calls this weekend and see what everyone says
