trans problem

Question trans problem

I got a 04.5 3500 auto the truck got where it didnt want to shift in to second gear like it use too. So a friend told me his did that and he changed the govnor press sensor and the transduser. I did that plus the over drive lock out sensor and the output shaft speed sensor.Still haveing problem with the trans wanting to stay in first gear to long befor it shifts. Need so help guys.

how many miles on it, have you ever adjusted the bands?

I've ran into the same problems time and time again before. Usually when they replaced transducer, govenor solenoid or adjusted the bands couldn't even tell they did anything or would shift a little better for a short time then the tranny would just go. I'm on my 4th tranny now, and the newest one's going.

there is 140,000 miles on it. Now it's got where it work fine sometimes and then it will act up some of the time.
