Drop pan, new filter, refill.
Then remove the line at the rear of the trans, stick it in a bucket via a hose. Start truck, put in netural, it will drop the fluid in no time, 20-30 seconds. Shut off re-connect line and re-fill.
I did mine 2 weeks ago and put in 13 quarts. I was told to have someone pour in as you do this, but the fluid came out so fast that we got 2 in, 9 out.
