Trans Issues???

I hauled an empty 24 ft enclosed trailer 2 1/2 hours to Orlando this weekend, loaded it up with a shell of a race car (maybe 1300 pounds) and drove another 2 1/2 hours back home. I didnt drive crazy, accelerate very hard (maybe 40% throttle accelerating out of the toll booth) but I noticed the trans acting up on the drive home. The first thing that I noticed was a flare into TC lockup. It actually felt like the trans would partially release high gear, and then the TC would lock up and everything would be fine. I dropped the trailer off at my shop today and made a run across town and noticed another issue: a weird shift into second gear from a dead stop. This issue seemed to be worse after the truck was parked for a few minutes at a store. I have had the truck for about 5000 miles and I havent beat on it too much. It has made two passes down a drag strip (launched at 1300 rpm) and a few romps on the street at WOT. I bought this thing so I could haul an enclosed race car trailer, which I have done three times and its acting up already?? Please help!
