My bro just put one in his Megacab. He says the shifts are nice and firm but the tranny seems to hunt more between 3rd and OD at around town speeds 35-50 mph so he just turns the OD off. His truck has a 6" lift and 37's, and air intake, and 5" exhaust but is otherwise stock. I might get one for mine when the weather gets warmer. You do need to read the directions very carefully because it requires a little drilling of the VB Scary, that's why we did his first but other than that it's not bad.

I have a Transgo shift kit in my truck. The install took about 4 hours. I put the line preasure at 5 turns, that is too much. When I have time I will pull the pan and tone down the line preasure 1 1/2 turns. The shifts are just a bit to harsh with 5 turns of line preasure. Otherwise it works great, shifts are at 2200 rpm.I also changed the manual valve, now the converter charges in park.
