Timbren suspension enhancement

I stumbled onto the Timbren suspension enhancement and it almost sounds too good to be true. I like the maintenance free idea over airbags. Anyone have any experience with these?

They work extremely well for their intended purpose which is vehicles that are constantly weighted like medium-duty utility trucks and vehicles like ambulances and tool trucks. They last forever too and will probably outlast the vehicle they are installed on.

I use them and like them. But the best ride improvement I have made are Bilsteins 5100's on all 4. They do help with sag when I tow heavy, and I did not want to deal with the maintenance of the air bags. I also found them on craigslist for $100 and that helped make my mind up.

We obviously sell air bag kits for customers that vary their truck load, but we also have a product called AirCell which is very similar to Timbrens. For a 2006 Dodge 2500 4WD, you'd use kit #52204. As stated above, they are great for constant loads as there is no maintenance. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I use them. No issues. You will need to upgrade to Bilstein shocks to dampen the rebound over bridges and such.

I hear they go hard in the winter time when they get cold. Might not be an issue for you depending on where you live. Air bags are adjustable for the load. It's nice to be able to tweak the PSI for a given tongue weight.

I bought them but didn't like the ride when unloaded, so I sold them and went with Airlift airbags.

I bought a pair years ago. I have a 4X4 which uses a longer one than a 2 wheel drive.
I didn’t like them so I exchanged them for the shorter ones. I have had them sense 2004, and I love them…

I have had them on 3 different 2500 and 3500 starting back in 2000
They do not affect you at all with no load if installed right. Thats the beauty of them. Then loaded they handle more than your truck can level and smooth.
Like already stated no maintenance. Will last longer than you.
Could not recommend them more.
Cold weather not an issue used in NE, Utah, MO, and Idaho.

I just added a set to the front of mine last month to accomodate the weight of my Boss V plow. Prior to the Timbrens I had a real bouncy ride and a good bit of bottoming out on the bump stops with the plow on. The handling without the Timbrens was terrible to the point where I did not like to drive places with the plow on. Adding the Timbrens not only makes the ride and handling great with the plow on, but it also stiffened up the ride without the plow and got ride of front end body roll while cornering. I cant beleive it took me this long to pull the trigger and add them with as cheap as they were and ease of the install.
