Tic has been clocked
Went to another dealer this morning. Took the tech for a ride and he heard the tick that I thought was a Lift Pump.
After crawling around in the engine bay and taking it for a drive, he concluded that it was actually a valve that seemed to need an adjustment. About 2/3 in from the front, intake side....Which cylinder it'll work out to be I don't know yet...
He was amazed that it had only 54K on it when the standard valve adjustment is at 135K miles...
"Told him that on the DTR forums others had this happen". DTR what? he said....
Scheduled for Thursday to get it done.
Any other things I should mention?
This should be under the 70/100K engine warranty right?
thanks

I would love to know if it fixed your tick. I am fighting with dealer now over several issues and the tick is on of them. My friends 06 doesnt have it. There is a difference of daylight and dark in our 2 engines. I am waiting on an air intake charge sensor, and now my heater fan sounds like a freaking jet trying to take off and also have a door window seal that is pushing out. Tired of this crap
