Thinking of Buying an '07 Megacab
Alright Gents,
Let me say I do not spend enough time on this sight. However, what time I have spent has been very informative. So thank you. This truck will be for my dad.
I have a few questions so lets get started:
1) Is $36,995 a good deal on a new '07 megacab? (List is $56....ouch)
2) Is this a year to stay away from and get an '08 or wait for an '09?
3) What kind of fuel mileage are you guys seeing?- (have seen a wide range 14 to over 20mpg, from the searching I have done)
4) Any other major issues I should know about, I know everything has problems when you build 1000000 units there are bound to be problems, but anything that is consistantly a problem? Besides the EGR deal.
Thats all I can think of now and I really appreciate any and all responses or information.
Thanks!
James

I would stay away from an 07 6.7l truck. There are just way too many of those that had serious problems and ended up as Buybacks. If it's a 5.9 then go for it. The MegaCabs are great, especially for a family. It's the ManVan....
That sticker price looks like it would be for a fully loaded Laramie and that is a very nice discount. Mine stickered for around that much but I had to pay a whole lot more than your discounted price....
Is the truck still new or is it used?
