How much play is allowed for the tensioner pulley? When I take the tension off the belt, the pulley wiggles a bit, not much, but it does wiggle. Should there be none? I have a ticking/rattling sound that is coming from the front of the engine and it is driving me crazy.

 

I am not sure either, very curious!!! My truck sounds like I've got a box of crickets under the hood!!! VERY agitating!!!

 

i have the same problem. i have the crickets to and also have a major noise with the a/c. I am going to try to make it tighter this weekend. go luck everyone
