temp gauge help

Can anyone tell me where on the engine I would install the temp probe? Is there an easy way so I don't have to cut top radiator hose in 2 according to directions that came with gauge? Thanks in advance.

This has come up before. On the passenger side of the head, towards the front, there's a pipe plug that leads to the water jacket. With the proper brass adapter, you can screw it into there.

Be sure and use a thread sealant, as per the isntructions. I'v always had good luck with a teflon paste.

Yes, one of the allen head pipe plugs should work fine at the front.
