tall skinny dually tire

anyone ever ran this tire?

http://www.michelintruck.com/micheli...A#j-7_50R17LRD

its a 33.5x8.2 radial. rated at 2600 lbs at 75 psi on dual applications. It will give a 5% reduction in rpm.

Max speed of 75 just like every other steel cased commercial tire (such as the reliable XPS Rib).

MY crappy generals will be gone in another 10-15000 miles and i plan to try these out.

Tall skinny dually tire

I've been running Firestone's since the original set wore out and have been getting great mileage. They're highway treads. So far I have approx. 65,000 miles on them. I pull a 14,000 lb. Fiver several times a year covering approx. 6 to 10K per trip. Cheaper than Goodyear. and they're E rated.

If it were me I would try to run Toyo ATs in 285/75R17 which are 34.1" tall. They are E rated and have have a 3970 lb weight capacity.

you cant run them safely without a spacer if you actually haul with your truck...not to mention the excess width will increase drag and throw crap all over the side of your truck
