Talk about torque
I stopped by my local tire dealer today to get studded tires put on the Jetta.
On the rack was a 03 CTD 4x4. The guy had been off road in the snow and hit a stump with the front differential at a pretty good clip. The front cover caved in, locked the ring gear, and the differential grenaded. Both front axle U-joints sheared off, the truck bounded over the stump and he drove it home. A 2wd drive for now.
Wish I had a camera with me.
