For the last two days I have been comuting two hours one way to work. Both days at some point in the trip I heard a bell or ding similar to the low fuel warning. When I looked down the Spedo and the Tach needles had droped to zero. As fas as they dropped they came back to where they were.

Has anyone else seen or heard of this on the 04.5

Also, one morning last week I started the truck and it began shaking violently. I imediatly turned the engine off let it set and then restarted it. Again, it shook terribly. I backed out of the driveway and drove to the end of the street and stoped. When I came to a stop at the corner the shaking was gone.

Any clues as to what caused this.

Truck was ordered on 12/23/03, and delivered on 2/2/04.
Currently has 36,000 miles

Any help on either or both of the issues will be greatly apreciated.

I also have 2004.5 600 which did the same thing twice at high-way speed. It did not loose power but the rpm and speedo dropped to zero and a chime sounded for a split second andthen returned. Dealer say it was a hick-up no other adverse effect on internal computer (check w/ scanner). Has not happened again.
