surge during idle about 2-300 rpm
Having an intermitent engine surge of about 200
-300 rpm when coming down to idle at intersections after warm up. Otherwise it runs excellent. Could this be the FAC that I see folks discussing? I'm suppose to bring it to the dealer again tomorrow. They just replaced the lift pump in the tank last month. 2004 CTD with 90k miles

Mine was doing the exact samething.I changed the fac, did not help.Took in to get them to trouble shoot and they told me injectors were shot and the throttle position sensor was bad. Tried to live with it for awhile (fighting with the guys that did the injectors 50000 kms before). Dropped a valve seat, had head and injectors done. Runs great now, still have not changed the throttle postion sensor. Thats just my story not saying it is not the fac, its easy to change.
