Unhappy sudden engine power loss

Anyone else had this problem? I started my truck which was partially warm, drove 500' (through my parking lot at work) to a very busy intersection, hit the go pedal to get into traffic....and nothing happened. I almost got killed! The engine didn't stall, but it took 5 or 6 seconds to grab any rpm ( it just slowly rolled along). I have a stock 2005 610 A/T 3.73 QC 4x4 with 4000 miles. It hasn't done it again, but I foot brake the truck to spool the turbo before I attempt to leave work ever since.

How cold was it? I would suspect gelled fuel or water. In cold weather a lot of problems can be caused from fuel. But it could be many other things on an electronic controlled engine.
