Stupid ? on read codes
I'm sure this a stupid question but how are you getting the number for a code if you happen to have the service light come on? Do you need a code reader? Or is there a way to dispay it on the insturment panel
Reason I'm asking is my truck today just stop running when I let off the gas.
I pulled the X2 off just in case and it restarted and service light went away. So I reinstalled X2 and it started fine and still no sevice light.
Would there be a code registered then or could it be a fluk thing. Fuel filter new about 300 miles ago.
Thanks guys for any insite here.
