Strange trans shifting, slow upshift?

The trans on my 2006 has shifted strange since I got it. When I floor it at highway speeds it jumps down 2 gears, the RPMs go straight to redline and stay there for a bit before it up shifts. Doesn't seem to matter whether its in "normal" mode or tow mode.

Lately its been getting worse. It "sticks" longer at red line and a few times I actually had to lift my foot to get an upshift.

Is there a throttle/downshift cable that can be adjusted like on older vehicles or is it all electronic?

Thanks.

Look up transmission servo and sensor upgrade. Mine did the same thing when I got it. I was under changing fluids and spent an extra 80 bucks and replaced the servo and sensor (4 bolts and 1 electrical connection). Truck shifts like a new one ever since.

Mine is an 03 and started doing the same. Wondering if I should also change the sensor on mine.
