Stock Truck defueling hard!
2005 Dodge Ram, truck is completely stock. This happens on days when its hot outside. havent noticed it on cold days. Normal cruising is fine, as soon as I roll into the throttle and make about 30psi, the truck just dies! the boost drops to 0 and there is no power. If i let off the throttle, give it a second, the truck recovers and cruises normally. If I let off quickly and then back on, there is still no power. I have to let off the gas completely for a few seconds, then roll into the throttle. I havent tried pulling a trailer but I can only imagine it will be worse as soon as the boost comes on.
WHATS WRONG??????
thanks

My 05 did this to me once. Embarrassing to admit but it turned out to be a really dirty air filter. Ran great as long as I kept my foot out of it. Tripped all over itself during hard acceleration. I usually change my air filter every other oil change. Apparently I forgot a couple of times.
