stack setup
tell me what you think.
i want stacks on my truck but cant because i tow a cattle trailer and the smoke will make them sick
i came up with the idea to put a splitter with one going to the stacks and the other going to a cat then to a muffler to a turndown tip underneith the truck and out of site.
i also thought of instead of putting the y pipe in the bed to the stacks and put a 6x6 piece of square tubing and putting it under the bed and then cutting 2 holes in the bed so that i wouldnt lose any cargo space.
any thoughts apprediated.

i have been throwing the ideal around in my head about the tubing under the bed so i don't lose cargo space in the bed of my truck for a while now. i wish some company made a kit like that. on the stacks and the cattle it depends if you want miters or bull horns? the bull horns you could turn outwards towards the side of the truck and clear the trailer.

the part im worrying about is is the slider underneith and how to make it work so that i can switch between stacks and muffler but have it completly one or the other
as far as the bullhaulers or the miters i really like miters and think that 7in. miters would look killer!!!!

i'm waiting on my stacks to get here right now. i already have a toolbox and instead of moving it back and losing 5 more inches of bed space i am going to build a mount out of 1/8" sheet metal to go over the y pipe and put a drop in box on top of that. so that way i stay with the bed space i have now. just a thought if you want a tool box. but i have seen some guys (maybe on the diesel stop) with a setup kind of like what you are talking about except the tubing is on the top side of the bed. they are doing that then mounting the toolbox straight to the tubing. i know you didn't say anything about a toolbox but its something to think about.

ya i do have a tool box( i guess i forgot to mention that) i was thinking of sliding it forward or maby modifying it so it fits in tight to the bed and over the stacks.
the reason i was thinking of putting the split under the truck is to that i could still haul 8 foot boards and such without having the tailgate down

you can get them from a grand rock supplier they come in 4 or 5 inch, it is a T pipe with a pull valve that goes at the point where the stacks 45 up through the bed than you just add some pipe to where ever you want it to go to
