Sounds like I ran over a barking seal when I turn right?

Everytime I turn hard right I get a sound from the front end as if I'm running over a seal. It only happens when turning right going forward and doesn't happen in reverse. I had ball-joints replaced not to long ago as well as new hubs/bearings and axle u-joints. The top passenger side ball-joint looks like it could be bent from maybe not being tight all the way? It's just weird that it makes noise turning right going forward but not reverse...any ideas?

Well, since the ball joint apparently wasnt installed correctly, maybe you might want to pull the shaft and re-check the u-joint..
could also be a brake caliper thats hanging and not floating anymore. When you turn hard right, its possible that you are getting some slight deflection that is causing the brake to squeal.. Just a though..

Thanks I'll check that all out. Also, I had the ball-joints and axle u-joints done first then a month later I did the hub assemblies. After the ball-joints and u-joints, the noise showed up but after I did the hubs, it went away and two months later it's back. It's so **** annoying!

Does it sound like a tire? Is the truck lurching?

Does it do it on grass/dirt the same way it does it on the pavement?

Just from your description, it sounds like the front end is locked in.

I'm not sure if it makes the same noise off pavement. I would guess that it does! No matter the speed, hard right turns causes the noise. It will make the noise and as the tire rotates it will stop and come back sort of like, errr errr errr. Hope that doesn't sound to retarded.

Is it possible that you are hearing a tire rubbing against the frame?

Nope it isnt tire rubbing. I took both sides apart and all hardare is good. Took it in for an alignment and it was way out of "spec"...well 129 dollars later it drives like a dream again and no noise. It was something with the suspension.
