Sold my 2004.5 CTD :)

2 nights ago I traded in my beloved 2004.5 CTD. With a new position, I'm driving an absolute minimum of 200 miles per day, 5-6 days per week. ...pulling nothing, hauling nothing. With Diesel still at 2.75-2.85/gallon, and only getting 19mpg, it just didn't make sense for me to keep it any longer.

So, I just wanted to say thanks to all the great members here who've given so much advice in the last year or so and provide much entertainment! ...maybe someday I'll have another ctd and come back with some new photos. ad removed

That's too bad. I'll assume that you had no interest in just parking the truck during the week and buying a cheap economy car for commuting. Hopefully they gave you a fair trade-in allowance, as your truck looked really sweet and would have fetched some decent money by selling privately with those mods like Ziebart & exhaust.

I might be interested in the cold-weather front. PM me with a description and price if you get a chance. Thanks!

Yeah, it was a tough decision. Parking it and buying a beater wouldn't really cut it. My office is 100 miles from my home and I travel on top of that...just couldn't rely on something that wasn't fairly new. It was a sweet truck though. I'd buy another in a second.

PM sent about the cold weather front.

You don't have to have a CTD to be here. Come on back around once in a while. If we were entertaining before we'll only get better .

I can understand the motive.

A man's got to do, what a man's got to do.

...are you kidding me? I was simply stating stuff that I no longer have a need for. I didn't list prices. I simply gave a list of items that were in/on my truck, that will no longer be used. I wasn't advertising an after market company I wasn't taking orders on this thread...

Oh well. I guess I have an infraction now for posting that.
