Six bad injectors. Need Help!

I removed my injectors and had them tested this week. I got a call back yesterday and all six are bad. I had flux 1 (40hp) nozzles and the shop said they flowed below stock spec and the spray pattern was very bad. So i ordered six stock bosch remans ($338) a piece. My question now is should i get a bore scope out and check my pistons?

I was having a hardstart issue/no start issue. I plan on cleaning the tank and fuel canister out before the new injectors are put in and adding an airdog. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Who tested them, Jordan?

For all six of them to need replaced, you need to find out what wiped them out so you don't wreck the new ones you are putting in...again.

Alan, pro-formance injection in Clearfield, Pa did the testing.

The technican said there was some dirt present, i currently have 125,000 on those sticks. Plus the edge so I was just thinking it was their time. But there could be another problem. Im gonna drop the tank and remove fuel canister this weekend to ensure I have a clean fuel system.

Oh, I thought they were newer than that.

Add a 2 micron filter setup like the one from Glacier after you clean everything.

Other than that, you should be good if it was running all right before this.

I don't understand why you didn't send the injectors into Don to have him check his injectors out?

Im a college student and I just got to pulling them out sunday and I need my truck to drive to west virginia over newyears and Don is usually pretty busy and I didnt have the time to send them from Pa to Tx. I would have liked to have sent them to him but I just didnt have the time. If i had another vehicle i most certainly would have sent them to Don.

Alan, I still have my stock liftpump so Im probably gonna go with an airdog and some filters.

FYI - They are suppose to flow less than stock at a given pressure and they are suppose to have a different spray pattern. They have an F1 designed spray pattern using just 5 holes verses the stock 8 hole. The new spray pattern atomizes the fuel so well that it makes more power with less fuel......what your shop is calling bad is the exact reason people want to buy them. Recommend you call one of F1's distributors and talk to them about it before you spend more money.
